Bringing together a hand curated collection of specialist vendors, A Very Vintage Wedding Fair takes place on the 24 and 25 March 2012, at Bleeding Heart.

The fair will showcase the very best of Queensland’s extremely talented, creative industry specialists. A Very Vintage Wedding Fair is set to be the epitome of vintage weddings.

Over 30 vendors will be present, exhibiting at the event with stands that will engage and inspire you. From vintage wedding dresses and era chic accessories to hard to find musicians that will rock your wedding day. From across the whole spectrum every supplier will offer authentic, beautiful and unique options that will allow you to style your day exactly as you want it.

STRUTTEN – Square One

The Strutten collective are hosting Square One, an event that pays homage to the modest beginnings of Brisbane creatives; from the art curator to the journalist. Held at Bleeding Heart Gallery on Friday 2nd March 2012, The Square One exhibit will showcase a collection of Brisbane visual artists and be the official launch of the Strutten.com Square One video.

The Square One exhibition will feature works from established Brisbane artists like Kitty Horton and Dominique Falla, as well as pieces from emerging artists, photographers and illustrators. Strutten.com are also showcasing a short film, Square One, where various Brisbane creatives are interviewed about how they got started in their respective industries.

Celebrating Brisbane’s eclectic art, culture, design, people and places, Strutten.com seeks to gain an insight into how Brisbane creatives begin their journey. We invite you to meet, experience and love Brisbane’s inspiring talent.

Hearts of Gold #8

Bleeding Heart are proud to present Hearts of Gold [8], a collaboration with local emerging artists, where all of opening night profits will be donated to Brisbane’s most recognisable community organisation, New Farm Neighbourhood Centre.

This exhibition will show from the 23rd of Feburary until the Wednesday the 29^th of Feb, with an opening night reception on Friday the 24th from 5pm.

Hearts of Gold is a series of art exhibitions run by Bleeding Heart Gallery to showcase exciting local emerging talent whilst raising money and creating awareness for the selected beneficiary. New Farm Neighbourhood Centre is one Brisbane’s most identifiable community centres that offers a space of inclusion, social justice, learning, education and support services.

For the first instalment of Hearts of Gold for 2012, some of Brisbane’s finest emerging artist come together to display their latest works, showing a diverse range from photography to installation to contemporary. Artists include:
