Art Gallery
Bleeding Heart Gallery is a large, refurbished, multi-purpose space which can hold up to 200 people and has been the home to works by many different established, innovative and emerging artists.
This year, Bleeding Heart intends to showcase works by a number of original, contemporary artists from the Brisbane region and throughout Australia.

The gallery is available for hire, whether it be for exhibition purposes, or a unique function or a business conference.
Looking to exhibit or host an art show?
Bleeding Heart will commit to providing you the service and help you need in order for you to host the most successful art show possible.
Bleeding Heart is open from Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5pm. Your opening night will be held from 5pm – 10.30pm. We are often open at additional times during the week for functions or forums in the gallery. At these times the artwork may not be available to be viewed by the general public but will put your work in front of large numbers of additional visitors to the building.
We believe our pricing includes more benefits than other galleries.
The hire cost for an art exhibition includes:
• Staff for opening night and duration of exhibition
• Insurance of work whilst in gallery
• Free use of EFT/Credit Card machine (conditions apply)
• Free additional table/chair hire on opening night
• Free use of PA for opening night
• In-house hanging system (wires/hooks)
• Additional pins & nails (if required)
• Assistance in hanging exhibition (conditions apply)
• Curatorial and hanging advice
• Lighting of works by trained staff
Hire costs do not include:
• Cost of opening outside of regular opening hours (please contact us to negotiate this if required)
• 3M hanging strips and magnets (Blue Tac is not permitted in gallery)
• Costs of transportation/insurance of works to and from gallery
• Cost of damages to work during installation by the artist or if damage occurs due to faulty installation by artist.
